Nancy Sauer - Chairperson Emeritus

President, D2Xchange, LLC

As president of D2Xchange, Ms. Sauer inspires the organization with her passion for leveraging technology to make information available for D2Xchange customers at the precise point they need it to make business decisions. Nancy has more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development and general management as well as significant expertise in data and information management, product administration, and partnership development. Nancy was Vice President of Business Development for Thought Equity, a Denver-based startup, which provides asset management solutions where she was responsible for direct sales, business development and opening new markets. Preceding Thought Equity, Nancy was General Manager for Information Handling Service's (IHS) Financial Products Group. She evolved the group from a database-focused company to a solutions provider by launching new products, and building partnerships with leading organizations like the World Bank and the American Banking Association. In her 8 years at Standard and Poor's Compustat, Nancy took on increasing responsibilities including management for the data content, channels, distribution, and high value clients. Additionally, she was instrumental in creating and bringing to market the first S&P cross-division Internet product. She received her MBA from the College of William and Mary, and a BS in Engineering from Virginia Tech. Nancy actively serves Virginia Tech on the Advisory Board for the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, the Residential Leadership Program and the College of Engineering.   

Pat Maley - Interim Chairman

Partner - Wiegers Capital Partners

Mr. Maley is a Partner with Wiegers Capital Partners an alternative investment group. His focus is providing growth capital to private companies in the Western US. Prior to joining WCP he had over thirty years experience in sales, marketing and general management with technology based companies. From 1994-2003 he was the CEO for three high tech companies, Dante Software, Collaboratek and Client Systems. He held senior sales management positions with Sequent Computer Systems and Intel Corporation. He is a director of KPA LLC, DG2L Ltd., D’Lance Golf Inc. and KidsTek. He is past Chairman of the Colorado Software and Internet Association (CSIA). He has a BS from the US Naval Academy and an MPA from the University of Colorado.

Doug Robinson - Past Chair

Managing Director, St. Charles Capital

Mr. Robinson is a co-founder and Managing Director at St. Charles Capital. He has extensive experience in private placements of debt and equity, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings for information technology software and services firms. In addition he has led and completed transactions for many non-tech middle market companies. Robinson is also actively involved in the community. He has served as a Board Member of the CSIA for 4 years and is a founder of the KidsTek.  Robinson also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Denver Area Counsel of the Boy Scouts of America, coaches a YMCA basketball team and teaches a youth Sunday school class. Robinson received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business. 

Michelle Carr - Treasurer

CPA, Audit Manager, Hein & Associates

Ms. Carr has over ten years of professional experience and provides audit-related services for both public and closely-held entities. Michelle has worked with clients on various areas of financial reporting for inventory including FIFO, weighted-average costing and application of overhead. Her experience also includes revenue recognition issues for clients with multiple delivery elements. Michelle has assisted clients with matters of impairments, work-in-process, and analysis of goodwill related to merger and acquisition transactions.
 
Prior to joining HEIN & ASSOCIATES LLP in 1999, Michelle was part of the accounting staff for a publicly held software development company. Michelle graduated in 1998 from Gonzaga University with her Masters of Business administration.

Richard Liner - Executive Director

President and CEO, LinerGroup, Inc.

Mr. Liner is the founder of LinerGroup, Inc., an Information Technology (IT) Recruiting and Consulting company, established in 1999 to provide innovative IT recruiting and consulting solutions to high growth companies. Prior to creating LinerGroup, Liner was VP of the IT Staffing Division of Inteliant, where he was involved in the integration of IT consulting acquisitions throughout the western US. He began his IT career in Denver in 1978 as a consulting Programmer/Analyst, and in 1982 opened the Denver office of Leardata, which was acquired by Ajilon in 1990. Liner managed the Western Region of Ajilon until 1997. Liner's involvement in non-profit organizations began in 1994 when he became a founding director of the Colorado Software and Internet Association (CSIA). He served as Chairperson of the CSIA in 1998, and chaired the Workforce Committee of the CSIA, which was the driving force behind the formation of the Colorado Technology Community Foundation (CTCF), now known as KidsTek. As a founding director and officer of KidsTek, Liner donates a substantial amount of his time in the development of KidsTek, including the successful search and placement of the Director of Technology Programs for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. This position was funded by a grant from KidsTek. Liner is also active in the Colorado Technical Recruiters Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and advancement of Technical Recruiting needs in the front range of Colorado. Liner holds a BS degree, Cum Laude, in Computer Science from Union College, and lives in southeast Denver with his wife, Jane. Their daughter, Andrea, is working towards her Doctorate in Psychology at George Washington University in Washington DC. 

Kristin Lentz - Secretary

Partner, Davis Graham and Stubbs, LLP

Ms. Lentz specializes in acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities offerings for public and private companies. In the acquisition area, Ms. Lentz has acted as counsel to sellers and buyers in merger, acquisition and reorganization transactions, and to acquirers in negotiating the financing terms of acquisitions. In the corporate finance field, she has served as company counsel in debt and equity offerings for domestic and foreign companies in a variety of industries and has acquired additional financing experience from serving as counsel to borrowers and lenders in term and revolving loan borrowings. Ms. Lentz represents private equity funds in investment and merger and acquisition transactions. Her practice also includes counseling clients on entity formation, securities disclosure and compliance issues and general corporate governance.
 
Ms. Lentz is actively involved in community affairs and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Business and Professional Women Education Foundation. In addition, Ms. Lentz provides pro bono legal work for other non-profit organizations. She is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Mergers and Acquisitions and Securities Subsections of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Women's Bar Association. While completing her law degree, Ms. Lentz was a member of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review. Prior to joining Davis Graham & Stubbs, Ms. Lentz served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gregory J. Hobbs, Jr. of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Jeff Carr - Director

VP Sales - NetEnrich, Inc.

Mr. Carr is a seasoned executive with over 24 years experience in the technology industry.  For the past 10 years he has built and managed high growth sales teams in several early stage companies helping them to grow rapidly. He joined NetEnrich in October 2011 as Vice President of Sales.  In this role he will manage the sales team and accelerate the growth of company revenues.   Previously Mr. Carr served as Executive Vice President of LuciData, Inc., a rapid growth Computer Forensic, eDiscovery and Data Security consulting firm based in Minneapolis and Denver.  Prior to LuciData Mr. Carr was Vice President and General Manager, SIP Solutions Group for Borderware Technologies.  Having launched this independent operating unit July 2006, Mr. Carr rapidly built it into a recognized leader in the SIP/VoIP Security marketplace. 

Mr. Carr started his career with NCR Corporation where he spent 8 years in the Data Services Division until NCR’s acquisition by AT&T in 1991.  He then moved to Oracle in the applications division successfully focusing on major Telco’s in the western US and Latin America.  In 1997 he joined Netscape Communications as a Regional Sales Manager for Central sales.  He led the central sales team increasing revenues from under $5M to $33M.  Netscape was acquired by AOL in 1998 for $6+ Billion.  Beginning in 2001, he has focused exclusively on early stage companies, initially as the first VP of Worldwide Sales for Vericept Corporation, a leader in the network intelligence and information leak protection (ILP) market.  After Vericept he was part of the leadership team with Ciphertrust, a highly successful email Security Company acquired by Secure Computing in 2006.

In addition to his successful background in technology, Mr. Carr is also the founder and majority owner of the award winning and critically acclaimed Garfield Estates Vineyard & Winery located in Palisade, CO and a past member of the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board. 

Mr. Carr holds a BS from Colorado State University.

Rodman Likes - Director

Western Regional Sales Manager, Oracle Healthcare

Mr. Likes, father of five and Colorado native, graduated from Brigham Young University where he was Captain of the BYU Lacrosse Team; a BYU Lacrosse Hall of Fame Inductee; President of Tau Sigma fraternity ; and a member of the BYU Economics Honor Society. He earned a bachelors’ degree in economics with a minor in Spanish. Having spent several years away from Colorado living in such places as Mexico, Washington DC and Salt Lake City, Rodman and his wife moved back to Denver in 1996 and now reside in the Castle Rock area. Rodman has spent the last twelve years working in the enterprise software business. He is currently the West Area Regional Sales Manager for Oracle's EPM Healthcare team. He earned an MBA and MSIS from CU Denver and is fluent in Spanish. Outside of the office Rodman loves to mountain bike, ski/snowboard, read, coach lacrosse, golf and spend time with his family. David Stern - Director

Community Volunteer

Mr. Stern is the founder and former CEO of Research Systems Inc, the software company that developed IDL a popular software package for scientific applications, including astronomy, high energy physics, and medical imaging.
 
Stern attended Union College in Schenectady, NY and received his BA in Economics from the University of Colorado in 1969. He worked at the University from 1969 to 1977 at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, LASP, where he developed software for NASA's interplanetary probes notably Mariner Mars 7 and 9.
 
In 1977 he founded Research Systems Inc. in Boulder, to develop a scientific programming language for data analysis and scientific visualization called IDL. IDL plays an important role in the data reduction, processing and analysis activities for a number of major projects including the Hubble Space Telescope and is widely used in the fields of satellite imagery, medical imaging and automotive engineering.  Research Systems was sold in 2000 to the Eastman Kodak Co, and is now known as ITT Visual Information Solutions.
 
He was named the Esprit Entrepreneur of the Year by the Boulder County Chamber of Commerce in 1997, and received an honorary doctorate (ScD) from the University of Colorado in 2000.
 
He is now the president of Algolytics, Inc, a small software consulting company he founded in 2002, and serves on the Arizona Astronomy Board.

Henry Wright - Director

Community Volunteer

Mr. Wright is a seasoned technology leader with over 23 years experience in product, market and operating roles worldwide including certification as a Six Sigma Executive and Value Innovations Yellow Belt. He held senior management positions at Vocollect Inc, SpectraLink Corporation, and Open Country, a California based privately funded, pre-revenue Linux start-up. There, he commercialized the scalable SaaS platform with system management applications in 2004. For more than 10 years, Henry guided technical and business teams with global accountability for strategy, revenue, product management, technical services and marketing at Sun Microsystems, Inc.

He earned an MBA for Executive’s from the University of Colorado, EMBA program, and a B.A. in Sociology from Union College, Schenectady, New York. Wright serves as an area VP for the Rocky Mountain Product Development and Management Association, is an active Association for Corporate Growth member, and a co-founder of the 905 professional networking group.

 

William Oshodin - Director

Benefits Consultant, JauntNow, Inc.

Mr. Oshodin is a Benefits Consultant at JauntNow Inc, which markets Corporate Vacation Benefits. Since July 2005, he has also served as the Director of Information Technology at 1stHour Communications, LLC.  During that period he also served as a Senior Consultant for Ariba Inc. Prior to joining 1stHour Communications, he worked at CoBank from 2001-2005, where he served as the Program Manager of the Strategic Relationships Division. Prior to CoBank, Willie worked a consultant at Accenture until 2000. After graduating college, he began his career as a professional athlete, playing defensive end for four years with Denver Broncos.

Bruce Huebner - Director

President, Lone Tree Advisors

Mr. Huebner has over twenty years of sales, marketing and business development experience in the personal, client server and Internet computing eras. Seventeen of those years have been in management and leadership capacities. Huebner currently heads his own consulting and investment company, Lone Tree Advisors, LLC.

Prior to starting his own company, Huebner was President and Chief Executive Officer of Teamshare, Inc, a Colorado Springs based collaborative software company. Huebner became CEO after joining Teamshares Board of Directors in August of 2000. Prior to Teamshare, Huebner worked for Microsoft Corporation for thirteen years in a variety of capacities. He headed Microsofts Network Solutions Group based in Denver. There, he was responsible for partnering with telecommunications & Internet solutions companies and played a key role in developing partnerships and outlining Microsofts ASP & .NET strategies. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of Microsoft's Rocky Mt. Region for eight years, responsible for sales, marketing, consulting & engineering services for that Region. He grew Microsoft's business from 8 to 120 people during that time and was responsible for significant revenue growth. His Microsoft career started by opening the New England sales office in Boston in 1987. Prior to that, he spent 5 years in the fledgling PC computer industry in sales and management positions in the Boston area.

Huebner and his wife Jane have lived in the Littleton area for the last 12 years and have 3 children. He past non-profit volunteer work in Denver included a 2 year Board role with the Community College of Denver's Computer Training for People with Disabilites (CTPD) program. 

Lane Brannan - Director

VP Sales - Western Region, cBeyond, Inc.

Mr. Brannan is a proven sales leader in the Information Technology field.  He is currently the Vice President of Sales for the West Region for Cbeyond, Inc.  Cbeyond is a publicly traded technology service provider that is consistently ranked among the fastest growing companies in the United States.  Lane has been with Cbeyond for the past 10 years and has helped to lead them from a few million in revenue in 2001 to $460 million in 2010.  He has served in several roles at Cbeyond including Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Market Director, Branch VPGM and Regional Vice President. 

Lane holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Hardin Simmons University and currently leads the Hardin Simmons Baseball Alumni Group.  He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, skiing, golf and being outdoors.

Mike Oldham - Director

Owner/Managing Director, FrontPoint Advisors

Mr. Oldham has had a distinguished career in global leadership roles in a number of technology companies with much of his career focused on the Media and Entertainment technology solutions industry.

Prior to his current role as an owner/managing director of FrontPoint Advisors and Exclusive Vail Rentals he was CEO and Board Member at OmniBus Systems which he sold to Miranda Technologies in 2010.  He also was COO of Encoda Systems Inc. (now part of Harris Broadcast), COO of SafeRent Inc. (now part of CoreLogic Corporation) and COO of MatchLogic.  Early career experience includes sales and marketing roles at Citicorp, Unisys, and UMB.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science in finance with honors from Missouri State University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado and attended Executive Education Programs at Columbia University Graduate School of Business and University of Colorado Graduate School of Business.

Matthew Schnittman - Director

President and CEO, Topschool

Mr. Schnittman is the President and CEO of Topschool, an on-demand Student Lifecycle Management (SLM) system that empowers student-centric college and universities to drive growth, reduce costs, and meet accountability requirements. Prior to TopSchool, Matthew was with eCollege, a leading provider of eLearning solutions to the education industry. At eCollege, Matthew served in a variety of executive roles, including president from August 2004 until his departure. During his tenure, eCollege was named to the Deloitte and Touche "Fast 50" for four years running, until its 2007 acquisition by Pearson, LLC.  Matthew was named one of the 25 most influential people in the Career College Sector and has served on the Board of Directors of the IMS Global Learning Consortium.  Matthew is a graduate of the University of Arizona, and holds a Master of Business Administration from The Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
