Our Boards
The KidsTek Boards consist of three distinct groups of highly committed professionals, each providing specific support to our operation and growth.
- The Board of Directors is the governing body of the organization, providing the management, strategic direction, and day to day operations of KidsTek. This board is made up entirely of volunteer community leaders who provide a considerable amount of their time and expertise to advance the mission of KidsTek. The Board of Directors meets bi-monthly, including an all-day strategic planning session held each summer.
- The Education Advisory Board consists of leaders of Public, Private, and Non-profit educational institutions, and provides KidsTek with analysis and recommendations to keep our programs relevent and effective, along with insight into educational trends and advances. This board meets four times per year, and its Chairperson also sits on the Board of Directors.
- The Advisory Council is a group of philanthropic individuals whose passion for the KidsTek mission brings them together to support KidsTek with their ideas, goodwill, collaboration and financial support. All Advisory Council members are welcome to attend the Board of Directors meetings, but are not required to meet regularly as a group.
If you are interested in being considered for any of these Boards, please contact our Executive Director, Richard Liner
