Game Design at Rachel B. Noel

Instructor Candace Hicks shows students at Rachel B. Noel Middle School how to use Scratch, an interactive programming environment created by the MIT Media Lab. KidsTek teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club Beacons program to bring the class to the middle school in far northeast Denver.

Last week, KidsTek staff members enjoyed our annual holiday dinner at Carrabba's Restaurant in Aurora.  KidsTek staff and instructors were joined by KidsTek board member Doug Robinson in recognition of their hard work serving youth in Denver and Aurora.  Many thanks to our wonderful staff for another great year!

KidsTek Serves with America's Promise Alliance in Aurora

KidsTek Program Director Andrew Bissland serves on the Effective Education team of the America's Promise Alliance for Aurora Youth.

December Study Session!

Students from Hinkley High and Aurora Central High schools met on Saturday to prepare for their fall final in their Cisco CCNA Discovery Networking class. KidsTek students earn dual enrollment credit from their high schools and the Community College of Aurora for passing the rigorous class.
