KidsTek was founded in 2000, as a non-profit community foundation by several of Colorado's leading technology executives to enhance our communities and to bring the opportunities of technology to Colorado's underserved children. KidsTek partners with area youth service providers to bring the technical resources, curriculum, mentoring and staffing that are key to successful technology education, including long term scholastic achievement and job-readiness, to at-risk children throughout the Front Range. KidsTek addresses the technology gap in its earliest form by providing after-school and in-school K-12 technology education to children in underserved communities – the first stage in the pipeline toward economic independence and a competitive Colorado workforce.
